What is America,… and Why So Unique?

          If we hope to get a tight grasp in what America is then we are going to have to look at how things were before America.  The really frightening part of this is that we will see that things are again turning back to how it was before America.
          And just in case you think totally idealistic thoughts,… allow me to inject into your thinking that America was born out of economics and out of overbearing controls by the groups who controlled economics.

          Before America, there really was no such thing as something called freedom.  There really was no place on Earth where opportunities were set up within a framework of how a society ran that allowed a person to go from one social and economic strata to another one.  It wasn’t really part of the thinking in Europe and other places.
          If you were born into the peasantry, then that is pretty much where you were going to live out the rest of your life.  The idea that you could even own property or have control over much of your own life wasn’t even something to dream about.
